The Story of Your Food: Onions- the continuing story...

Trimming day for the onions! When the onion seedlings reach 5 or 6 inches tall, we trim them down to about 1.5 inches to help the onions increase girth. We repeat this process a number of times over the next few weeks until we are able plant them out in May. Smells so nice when we cut them!
